Hunter Safety

Hunter Safety Course

The State of California requires all first time resident hunters, regardless of age, to complete hunter education training or pass a comprehensive equivalency test before purchasing a hunting license.

Our next Hunter Safety Course will be held August 24 & 25, 2024.  The cost is $10.00 per person and advance reservations are required due to a class size limit of 20 students. Please feel free to  stop by the Club and pick up a study booklet.

Reservations for Hunter Safety are now required to be made via the California Department of Fish and Wildlife website.  To choose the location of our class it is helpful to search by our zip code, which is 94571 or click on the following link for more information or to register. https://www.register-ed.com/events/view/215670

Students are required to have a Fish & Wildlife GO ID number to register for the class:  Instructions to obtain a GO ID number.
